I ordered this ZE-208S II thinking it would replace my ZE-208S, which had the pull break inside the old unit. Well, I didn’t know that the Internal Functions were not the same…but how was I to know that. If I had been able to check the pull sequence with an ohm meter, I might have known. What I did find out was that this one doesn’t work as a replacement for the ZE-208S on a Hampton Bay fan. Had to use an Ohm meter to check the proper Operational Functions. The correct replacement is ZE-268S2 for my fan. Definitely read the description info…don’t count on the model numbers being the same.
