I ordered this ZE-208S II thinking it would replace my ZE-208S, which had the pull break inside the old unit. Well, I didn't know that the Internal Functions were not the same...but how was I to know that. If I had been able to check the pull sequence with an ohm meter, I might have known. What I did find out was that this one doesn't work as a replacement for the ZE-208S on a Hampton Bay fan. Had to use an Ohm meter to check the proper Operational Functions. The correct replacement is ZE-268S2 for my fan. Definitely read the description info...don't count on the model numbers being the same.

High quality fan speed switch. I tried a couple of different ones from hardware stores and I only ended up having high and low speed. When I installed the zing Ear switch it worked perfectly.
I received the ceiling fan switch qucikly, packaged great, with a wiring drawing & warranty card with their contact info. I really appreciate doing business with a company that offers great customer service. My ceiling fan is 30 years old & the home improvement store didn’t carry the correct light switch. I located it online at Switch Prince. Fantastic company to do business with. Thank you!
I have a ceiling fan that was in the house when I bought it 21 years ago. The fan switch broke. It’s a KTE 308-A that only had 3 wires attached. Red, Blue and Black. Nothing on terminal L. The switch is no longer made and other switches I purchased from local stores did not work. I found a random posting of someone with the same issue and he tried this switch and it worked. So I purchased it along with the 4 lead wires. I wired it exactly as the old switch was wired and it worked perfectly! I was about ready to throw the fan out but I no longer have to. The switch is also nice and small so it fit in the fan housing. It was delivered very quickly and was overall a great experience with Switch Prince and the product.
Close to perfect. If the thread section was a little longer, it would have been an exact match to what was in my 30 year old Hunter fan. Very happy with purchase. Allowed me to keep my Hunter fan going.

The only change up is the post designations 1, 2, L; have changed on new switches. You have to look carefully
